Dj and Producer of SnP Records and the whole world

Bezaleel aka ORFOLOR also known as Carlos Orfale has been associated with Electronic Music since 1995; his involvements include the production and promotion of underground music events in his based cities: Barranquilla, Colombia and Miami, EEUU. While living abroad in Miami he embraced what he calls a gift from God and started playing music for the masses. Soon he discovered the incredible energy that can be transfered to crowds while playing his music.

In 2010, he took the next big step and started his own music label; SnP Records, with the focus being on the distribution and production of high quality electronic dance music.

In 2013 he founded Electronic Art Festival in his beloved city of Barranquilla; which serves as a platform for all audio/visual artists to show their talents and get exposure nationally+internationally.

Nowadays Carlos is even more involved in his music career as you may find him in the studio, evolving sound thorough his own process of creation, working side by side with his fellow SnP artists who he considers family.

 007 - 25SnP/Bezaleel & Kevin Jessurum - Trickle Up

The collaboration between Bezaleel and Kevin Jessurum on the EP Trickle Up is a masterclass in how electronic music can convey a profound and contemporary narrative. Joining forces with the artist Boys Don’t Fight, this production delves into the territory of Minimal Tech, using it as a meticulous and detailed sonic canvas to amplify the lyrical message.

Both artists are known for their skill in production and sound design, and they have explored the most meticulous and detailed sounds of Minimal Tech: every percussive element, every loop, and every bassline is strategically placed to create a hypnotic and tense rhythmic foundation.

The collaboration reaches its climax with the vocals and lyrics of Boys Don’t Fight: The lyrics address modern pressures (“I’m just tryna work, eat, sleep. I’m just dealing… with this”) and subtle social commentary (“Trickle-down, bottoms-up”), before transitioning into longing and connection (“Feeling alright, wanna take you home… tonight”).

The cold, precise structure of the electronic music creates an interesting perspective that underscores the sense of harmony and alienation in today’s society, making the moment of lyrical liberation (“Trickle Up”) feel all the more impactful and cathartic.

Two of SnP Records' most respected sound and music producers, Emilio Coll and Bezaleel, have joined forces to present their EP for the season, Chemical Element, a production inspired by and named for the tranquil yet culturally vibrant pulse of Isla Fuerte in Córdoba.

This work is an homage to this Caribbean gem, particularly to the serene and welcoming atmosphere of Hostel La Playita. Isla Fuerte is a crossroads where African culture has a deep and palpable influence, attracting tourists and travelers seeking a peaceful and authentic retreat.

The EP encapsulates this duality: the paradisiacal calm and the rhythmic depth that emanates from its rich cultural heritage.
